I received a Lexar digital camera for Christmas 2005. I called the numbers on the little yellow card that came with the camera. The cameral drains the batteries and they will not hold a charge-even with the camera turned off. I have tried to get hold of a human with your company since December. I have listened to your stupid recording to "hold for the next available assistant" until I am blue in the face. Your product and service sucks.
The missing driver that makes this piece of work, well, work on Mac OS X 10.2.+ can be found here:http://www.sakarhelp.com/support/select.php.step=3&category_id=2&subcategory_id=8&product_id=60446
Switching over to Mac OS X (10.2) from OS 9 was fearful because I thought there was no GPS supported mapping application in OS X.Well, to my complete surprise, with the eTrex GPS connected to the iConcepts USB-Serial adapter, Street Atlas 6.0 running in Classic mode found the GPS and is more stable than in OS 9.2.2.I am not sure which driver is being used - the native OS X driver or the OS 9 Extension - I am guessing it is the OS X (10.2) native driver since I have extensions turned off for Classic. The adapter is smaller in profile than others and is much cheaper - so buy a couple.
Once you get the latest driver from the sakar web site (go to the support section), you'll be fine for mac os x 10.2.x.the version of the driver that came in the package was too old (version 1.0.3), but the version 1.0.6 driver from the support web site made it work like a champ.
Looking for drivers online may not be the solution. I purchsed this adapter for use with a basic stamp module. I wasted 30.00. I can't get the software off the disk even. Say its for mac OS x, but does not work yet. what a shame. I should have spend the extra 20 dollars for the keyspan usb serial port adapter.
